"If you remain yourself in every situation, you remain eternal."
We humans, have this baffling desire for eternal life, even when we clearly know that eventually,
everyone dies. Death always comes across as unwanted and unfair. In the current times, Life seems so fragile.

There are two kinds of people in this world – those who live every day like it’s the first day of
their life, and those who live like every day is their last.
There are those who ‘go with the flow’, living each day as it comes. They are just trying to complete their daily chores, living an essentially self-centered life. They have very few demands, and are easily pleased just with meeting requirements. They are short-term thinkers, worried only about what’s beneficial for their own selves.
And then there are the ‘go-getters’, who are constantly trying to make a difference, making it better not only for themselves, but the whole world. They see the bigger picture. They live differently, utilising every wake moment, prioritising relationships and character, rather than fame or wealth or achievements.
Which one are you? Do you go with the flow or are you a go-getter?

Our time on Earth is less than a blink of an eye compared to the existence of the universe; but the consequences of it will last forever, even after we cease to exist. We all know that one day will be our last, but unfortunately, very few people know when they are close to it.
This lockdown period, when we are keeping ourselves safe by social distancing, is a valuable gift. We have time on our hands to finally focus on our own self. We must utilise it to introspect, and scrutinise our life. What have we accomplished? Where are we headed? What are we doing with our time? What are we prioritising? This is a good time to re-evaluate the way we function.
We must take stock of our life till now, and make the necessary changes required. What is the one thing that you should stop doing? And what is the one thing that you must start doing? Start living your life the way you want to. Make your existence worthwhile in your own way. Stop going with the flow.
It’s your life after all. You can make of it whatever you want to. You just have to do it.
